Joey MacRae has been training for the past sixteen years; specializing in Reining, Working Cow Horse, Western Pleasure, problem horses, starting colts and tuning up older performance horses. Before venturing out to train on his own, Joey worked under several other professional trainers including: Steve Schwartzenberger of Colorado, Scott McCutcheon in Gainesville, Texas, and with Maynard Smith at the Draggin' A Ranch in Eagle, Colorado. His show record includes: 1998 Arabian National Reverse Open Reining Champion, Top Ten in both Paint and Appaloosa for Reining and Working Cow Horse, and several times he has had the nation’s High-Point Reining Horse. During his career, Joey has accumulated over 9,000 points in the AQHA, NRHA, NRCHA, APHA, and ApHC.
